Living on the border presents unique challenges: having family across the line, crossing daily for work or school, navigating immigration systems, facing cultural discrimination, or feeling cut off from a community you can see but can’t easily reach. These experiences shape who we are and leave lasting marks on our well-being. Get to know artist Albert Velasquez and his experiences of living on the border!

The Borderland Reflections Art Show is part of RAZE’s ongoing work to challenge misconceptions about life on the border and highlight opportunities for investment and growth. Alongside the art exhibition, RAZE will provide Know Your Rights information and share ways for community members to get involved in ongoing immigration and community-safety efforts.
